FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Find answers to common questions about switching energy providers

Absolutely not. There will be no interruption to your energy supply during the switching process. The only thing that changes is who bills you and potentially how much you pay.
The switching process typically takes around 21 days to complete, but you don't need to do anything once you've agreed to the switch. Our team handles all the communication with your old and new suppliers.
To make the switching process as smooth as possible, it helps to have a recent energy bill handy when the agent calls. However, don't worry if you don't have this - our agents can still help you with just your address and current supplier name.
Yes, you can switch if you have a smart meter. In some cases, your smart meter might temporarily lose some 'smart' functionality after switching, but your new supplier will be able to advise on this.
